Because writing letters is fun!
Dear Inappropriate Crush Object,
If you'd stop being so darned clever and charming, maybe I'd stop feeling like a silly teenager whenever I talk to you. So knock it off. Thank you.
Love,
Me.

Just a thought
Ebay? Oh, it is SO BAD for me. I keep buying yarn. Pretty yarn, yarn that I would never find otherwise due to only really shopping in big box craft stores and having no idea where my LYS is other than it's somewhere on rte 27, possibly close to where I get my hair done. But I buy nice things! Things that are so nice! They are!
I just thank my lucky stars that I don't pay much attention to the items at etsy.
On the bright side, I may well have some good supplies for when the Music with Socks In Swap for the Discworld Ravelry group starts up, yay!

Thinking about Thelma.
Still need to work a bit more on Thelma and what else I want to do with her. Initially, I was going to go into her background as a young Monster Hunter, and how her pals were some of her wacky sidekicks, etc., but then it occurred to me that it wouldn't be as much fun as it is with her as she is now.
Old Ladies Fighting the Undead. It's a new fiction genre that I'm starting up. Anyone else does it, they gotta report to me.
Why this is great: Consider that the characters are facing their own mortality as well; the risk of turning is more *real* to you when it's more than just battle accidents and dismemberment that'll make your protagonists fall. Imagine seeing your recently deceased friends up and about and eating brains. It's more likely for the old than it is for the young, if you think about it. Having dead friends, not eating brains.
Why do these things come to me when I should be doing work for school? Sigh.

Again, I live up to the name
So glad I called it "Infrequently Updated", no matter how off it seemed when it was shiny and new and I blogged every day.
Things are decent here in hamsterland. We (my family, my aunt's choir, and assorted chaperone-style people) just returned from a trip to Disney World, which is always a lot of fun and much less hokey than I initially believed. I'm still plugging away at my classes, planning on graduating this year, and must order the cap and gown and class ring soon, now that I think about it.
I recently rediscovered my old IRC channel, which is still up and running, surprisingly enough, and still has the same familiar faces.... er..... names in the side window. Awfully good to see people, some of whom I severely missed. Severely. I hope I get a chance to spend real-life time with these folks soon. Even if they do accuse me of having had a second child and selling it to the gypsies. Dorks. ^.^
